Seiko Prospex SBDC051 watch

Hi guys, This is a Seiko 200m Diver's watch Prospex SBDC051 new for 2017. As I told you guys earlier this year I have couple of watches to show you and also review. I bought this watch because I wanted something that has a heritage to it and this watch is a throw back to the first Seiko Diver's watch. Again this watch has the "6R15" movement from seiko BUT in this case the movement is some how quite superior to an ordinary "6R15" movement. How if you ask then the accuracy of this watch is good enough to get it certified as a "Chronometer" or "COSC" certification for sure. I am still finding out the perfect figures to share with you guys of its accuracy for that I have put it to test. Now then its a typical 3 hands automatic watch with a date only window no Day. As I said 200 m water resistance plus its a Diver's watch. The "Lumibrite" the "Glow In The Dark" substance applied by Seiko is its own production. It is one of the brightest I have ever seen on a Seiko. There is a unidirectional rotating bezel. That is having 120 clicks. Even the arrow marking on the bezel has the "Lumibrite" paint applied to it so the bezel is actually useful even in the dark or under water. As a diver's watch it has a screw down crown which hleps not to allow water to enter the watch while diving or doing any water activity. As of now I can tell you the accuracy of the watch movement is as good as +3 -5 secs per day which is insane. while wearing it it does remind me of a Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Co-Axial movement watch which I Sure would love to have some day :) I hope you like the video and the watch because I love this watch.
