The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) has detained Maciej Świrski, former chairman of the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) and former head of the Polish National Foundation. Searches were also carried out at the homes of former advisors to Beata Szydło. The case concerns the "Fair Courts" campaign, financed by the Polish National Foundation. Is this a breakthrough in holding accountable those associated with the previous government? Who was politically responsible for spending public money?
