Fontys first year RPP - "I'm fine" by Hannah Nissen

“I’m fine” is a physical poetic performance inspired by Hamza Halloubi’s video art piece called “walking and talking”, which is a philosophical reflection about life and society. In “I’m fine” you get a 5-minute glimpse into a young woman’s brain and her struggles through life. The piece reminds us, that we have no idea what is going on behind closed doors or inside someone’s mind, even when they say “I’m fine”. This topic is extremely relevant in today’s high paced society, where we hide behind screens and empty words. The performance get’s delivered through spoken word and beautiful poetic movements in aerial silks, which represents the “bad” in her life; the thing that keeps holding onto her and keeps pulling her down.
