The Supreme Court Monday quashed Gujarat government’s decision to allow remission of 11 convicts in the case of the gangerape of Bilkis Bano and the murder of seven of her family members during the 2002 Gujarat riots, which broke out in the state in the aftermath of the Godhra train burning incident.
