The Lost Words Blessing | Dance Film | Irrbloss x Warnligt

This film is an interpretation of The Lost Words Blessing, a song that accompanies the book The Lost Words, written by Robert Macfarlane. What is an starling? An otter? What are the different plants in a forest called? Children are to a diminishing extent taught the language to describe the natural world around them; the language of the environment is slowly being lost. A remedy for this loss is needed, since humanity has a tendency to not care for the things we cannot name. The film was recorded during one day in Gästrikland, Sweden. Dancer: Erika O'Neill (Irrbloss Production) Photography and post-production: Sandra Wärn (Warnligt) I DO NOT OWN THE MUSIC AND DO NOT MONETIZE THE VIDEO.
