Broyong or commonly called Prolaptus is divided into two, namely: 1. Vaginal Prolaptus (Terongen) 2. Uterine Prolaptus (Broyong Total) Prolaptus is one of the obstacles that is often encountered in raising breeding cattle (broodstock). The cause of prolaptus is due to several factors including: 1. The slope of the cow shed floor. 2. Management of feeding to old pregnant cows. 3. Lack of nutrition or mineral intake. 4. The cow is caged for too long. Prolaptus prevention can be done by: 1. Design the floor slope of the brood cow shed about 5 - 7 cm. 2. Old pregnant cows are given small amounts of forage. 3. Giving minerals regularly during gestation 7 until childbirth. 4. Cows are invited to walk "every day.
