Why Isn't Scar Playable? // Wuthering Waves, Ep. 2

In the second episode, we take on the next two main quests in the Huanglong Chapter: Echoing Marche and Ominous Star. In the first half we see the many effects a war has on a nation, from fleeing outcasts to wounded veterans, while the in the second half we listen to Scar's story about The Black Lamb and the Shepherd, which he tells as an allegory to Qichi Village's fate. And that's it for the professional synopsis, now on to me rambling for a bit while you read the description instead of watching the actual video. Did I mention it in the last episode I made these to be first-screen experiences? Yes? I'll mention it again anyway. I'm talking, the game's telling the story, all at the same time. But you know the drill. Speaking of... no, that would be still improper. But you know what I wanted to ask. Now a last bit about Scar. I don't know when/if he will be playable (I heard rumours), but I'm sure to pull for him when the time comes. I can only hope I'll have enough astrites to get him guaranteed. Unfortunately for now he's "just" a villain, even if he's the coolest character in game. Like have you seen his smile? The way he told the story? As a storyteller, an in-game character being a storyteller is already a huge plus, and he's actually not that insane, am I right? But that's enough for the Scar apologetics. He's still a Fractsidus and while we didn't see all the wrongs he might've done before we met him, but there is surely a good reason why everyone's afraid of him. So yeah, no more simping. Just a bit. All the while knowing that he's doomed anyway and no one can save him. Did I mention... you got me. I tried it again. So go back and watch the rest of the video now.
