【朗読】岡本綺堂 「人参」三浦老人昔話③ 朗読・あべよしみ
I have re-edited and moved the stories I previously uploaded to my main channel, "Abe Yoshimi's Reading Room," to this channel. When I read them on my main channel, I didn't know the whole story of "Miura Old Man Folktales," and I uploaded them out of order, so I've organized them so that the order of the 12 stories is clear. [What is "Miura Old Man Folktales"?] This is a series of 12 short stories: "The Lady of Kirihata," "The Blood in the Armor Cabinet," "Carrots," "Leave the Moat," "The Record of the Fall of the Castle," "Gonjuro's Play," "The Calendar of Spring Plum Blossoms," "The Master of the Hatamoto," "The Story of Tattoos," "Thunder Visit," "Lower Residence," and "Arrow Pole." These are works written by Okamoto Kido at the peak of his maturity at the age of 52. The narrator, Miura Old Man, is a friend of Hanshichi Old Man, a former police detective. The listener, "I," is a newspaper reporter like the listener in "Hanshichi Torimonochō," and is introduced to Miura Old Man by Hanshichi, and visits Okubo, where Miura Old Man lives, to listen to and write down the stories. This "Carrot" is the third story in the "Miura Roujin Mukashibanashi". First published in "Kuraku" 1924 (March 1, 1924) [Contents] 00:00 1. 13:09 2. ★Comments received when I uploaded it before★ ●From O... Your voice is so gentle😳 ●Abe's reply Thank you for watching and commenting! I'm very happy💕 I look forward to your continued support. ●From Pe... Your gentle voice always draws me in. I thought it was a story that could happen even today, about a 15-year-old boy who loses his loved ones one after another and is driven to a corner. There is a word "destiny", and although it is sad, I felt it strongly. In the last sentence, "Sha ni ate kaeru" means "sha ni ate kaeru" (to return after forgiveness), so is it correct to interpret this as meaning that he was able to return home after being pardoned? ●Abe's reply Thank you for your warm comments. I would be really happy if you could listen to it while thinking about various things like that💕 Yes, as you guessed, the last part is "I think he met forgiveness and returned home." ●From Niwa... This story was also a sad one. It's a relief that even in this era, adults took the circumstances into consideration and showed leniency❗️ ●From Ka... It reminded me of Renard's "Ninjin". The stories don't have anything in common, but the sadness is finally redeemed (Hisamatsu? is pardoned), so I guess you could say it's the same. ●Abe's reply I see, it's interesting to see all the different associations that come to mind😊 Kidō Okamoto (November 15, 1872 (October 15, Meiji 5) - March 1, 1939) was a Japanese novelist and playwright. His real name was Keiji Okamoto [1]. His other pen names include Kyokido, Onisumi, and Kojiro. He is known as a writer of Shin Kabuki plays, and his most famous works include the novel "Hanshichi Torimonocho."
