We visit Sacromonte, where Gypsies still live in Cave Houses.

We finally made it to Sacromonte, for me one of the most interesting places in all of Granada. Here you can still find gypsies living in cave houses like they did hundreds of years ago. Some of say that this is the birthplace of Flamenco. Mikko told me about an old Abbey that we could visit, but it requires a lot of stamina to make it there. As we climbed higher than the trees the views got better and better. When we reached the Abadia de Sacromonte (Sacromonte Abbey) , we were surprised to find out it's age. It is over 500 years old this place and it sits on a hill overlooking the valley. From here you can see the Alhambra in the distance and the city of Granada. Stay tuned for part 2 as we go inside the Abbadia de Sacromonte and see the holy underground maze of caves. If anyone would like to buy me coffee or support my channel here is the link to my PayPal.
