Supro Coronado 1690T - clone amp demo by LeonC

I built this amp in November 2013; it's just about an exact clone of the late 50s Supro Coronado (1690T); I call my version, the Conqueror. I used the same split-chassis design employed by Valco, who was the original manufacturer of these amps. The 1690T is a 2x6L6, cathode biased amp which three 12AX7 tubes in the pre-amp section. It has two channels, a normal and a tremolo channel. I do another video demo featuring the tremolo soon. I've got it in a 2x10 cab I designed just for these chassis; it's finger-jointed pine and is loaded with Celestion Greenback 10s. This is the model amp which Jimmy Page loaned to the R&R Hall of Fame a few years back (his had been modified to use a 12" speaker in place of the original 10s). This is a candidate for the Supro amp that was allegedly used on the first Led Zeppelin record.
