Across The Alps Backpacking Adventure 700km GR5, 55, 52 Part 1 of 3 Haute Savoie Mont Blanc
This 700km backpacking and camping hike takes me from Lac Leman to the Mediterranean, past the Mont Blanc massif, across the Vanoise, Queyras and Mercantour mountain ranges. It was postponed for two years running due to the Covid pandemic. When a severe heatwave struck Europe on the third year I wavered in my decision to go, but I did go, it WAS hot and this is the first of three videos covering the journey.
