Passau (Germany) is one of the most picturesque cities in Bavaria, yet it's often overlooked by tourists. In this video, I'll show you the main attractions of Passau and tell you what to see in one day if you're visiting for the first time. Passau is located in Lower Bavaria, on the border with Austria, at the confluence of three rivers – the Danube, Inn, and Ilz. That's why it's called the "city of three rivers" and is often compared to Venice. If you want to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Passau—take a riverboat cruise (as I mentioned in the video, there are also cruise ships encrusted with Swarovski crystals) along the Danube, climb the fortress above the city, and visit, for example, the famous Passau Glass Museum, and enjoy the restaurants and cafes—plan on two days. Is Passau worth a visit? Definitely yes!
