Hey everyone, today in this video, we will see how to convert a glass bottle/jar into a beautiful piece of art that you can use to decorate your home. So, don't throw away any of your glass jars, just convert it into beautiful art. I am making a seal jar and showing off my bear jar and fox jar I already made, but feel free to change up any part of the design or create something new altogether. This DIY tutorial is very easy and simple to follow, perfect for beginners, explained step by step, and achievable at home! I hope you will love this craft and will try to make it. Grab a jar and start right away! **Important: When baking clay on glass in the oven, place the bottle in the oven before preheating and leave in the oven after you turn the oven off until it is completely cool. This is because sudden temperature changes in the glass could cause the glass to shatter, break, or crack. In order to keep your bottle decoration looking beautiful, be sure to follow this reminder. The type of clay used in this video is Sculpey and Fimo. I use what’s available as most brands are similar to each other. Always follow your clay’s baking instructions on the package when making clay creations. I baked mine at 275 degrees in a non preheated oven for 20 minutes. Leave to cool in the oven before handling them as they are still soft and handling them may leave dents. Tip: When shaping the clay, if you find that you are leaving a lot of fingerprints, you can use a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to wipe the surface of the clay clean.
