🔴 AMPLIACIÓN JAVIER PRADO: ¡Terreno YA LIBERADO HOY!

Sunday, July 12, 2026. I visited the progress of the Javier Prado Avenue rehabilitation project, which will eventually connect with the Ramiro Prialé Highway. I began my tour at the intersection with Metropolitana Avenue. From the aerial view, it's clear that the land has already been cleared. Although there are still some piles of rubble being accumulated for complete cleanup, no structures remain standing. As you can see, the change is remarkable. Crossing 26 de Mayo Avenue, they have also demolished the wall that previously blocked the continuation of this road. This joint mega-operation between the municipalities of Lima and Ate managed to free up more than 13,000 square meters of public space that had been occupied for decades, marking the definitive start of this road project. Now, the magnitude of the space through which the future expansion of Javier Prado Avenue will pass, eventually connecting with the Ramiro Prialé Highway, can be much better appreciated. With this land now cleared, the Municipality of Ate has the green light to begin the work that will finally connect Javier Prado Avenue. This is a key project to alleviate traffic in East Lima, guaranteeing direct, toll-free access. From behind the market, on 26 de Mayo Avenue, you can see that the entrance to the reclaimed area is now completely open. And that's all for today's tour. See you in the next video.
