Dębicka noclegownia dla bezdomnych

Winter is the most difficult time for the homeless. Anyone in need of help who has nowhere to live can find shelter at the Homeless Shelter, provided they adhere to the facility's regulations. At night, temperatures drop below freezing, which means staying and sleeping on the streets is not only difficult but also dangerous to their health and even life. Homeless people in our region often live in vacant buildings, sleeping in parks or allotment gardens. However, in winter, when temperatures are very low, anyone in need can find shelter at the Homeless Shelter on St. Brother Albert Street in Dębica, provided they adhere to the facility's regulations, which do not accept intoxicated individuals, for example, or at the Shelter on Słoneczna Street. As Anna Wójcik, President of the St. Brother Albert Society for the Homeless, emphasizes, homeless people from all over the region come to the shelter. A bed, a roof over their head, and a warm meal are available for every person in need who meets the facility's requirements. The shelter has fifty beds for homeless women and eighty beds for homeless men. However, during the winter, Dębica's shelters typically help a larger number of those in need. This year, these shelters are expected to house approximately one hundred and fifty homeless people. Each person will receive shelter and meals prepared in the Albertine kitchen.
