The Caledonian Sleeper Now Stops at Birmingham

As of January 15th 2026, the Caledonian Sleeper is making a new additional stop at Birmingham International, meaning you can board it heading north on the Highlander service, or get off it when heading south. Whilst on the trip, let's also talk a little about the history of sleeper services in the UK, and then there was also the opportunity to see the moment in Edinburgh in the early hours of the morning when the train splits into three separate portions ...
