In parts one and two of 'Anatomy of Austria-Hungary' (Anatomy of the Emperor's Throne), we provide an overarching 'history of events' before delving into the regional histories of the composite lands that compromised the 'Kaiserthum' (Austria/Austria-Hungary), in a manner inspired by Fernand Braudel's Identity of France.
