How to Tell Stories With Your Camera
The best images do two things at once: deliver information and evoke emotion. The best way to achieve both is to make sure your image tells a story. I love embedding ambiguous narratives into my photographs – pulling the viewer into a story, but leaving them with some work to do to figure out exactly what it means to them. The photograph featured in this video is a great example. As I point out the various ‘clues’ it contains, you’ll develop your own interpretation of the story it tells. I also give you a little glimpse behind the scenes of the shoot itself.
