Why Did The German Army Wear Grey Uniforms?
It was one of the most recognisable uniforms of World War 2, but the German Army (Wehrmacht) wore grey. Officially the colour was known as Feldgrau, or field grey. But why specifically did they wear this, and why did they not wear green?
