The Hati community of Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh is lives in the inaccessible but beautiful mountains. This area, situated across the Giri river of the state, is known by the name of Giripar. It is said about this area that this area is economically backward but culturally very rich. In an attempt to see and understand the culture and food habits of Hatti community, we reached Shilai Tehsil of Sirmaur district.
