Their classification is very confusing, with multiple versions within one lens generation. For example, my W ROKKOR 28mm f/3.5 was an unexpected one. I don't like the handling of this lens, it's too fat in the middle, and my hand is normal-sized. The Takumar feels better and I have a preference for the Takumar. The lens is sharp and renders good color, the D.O.F. from this lens is impressive but the bokeh isn't.
