However, the entire supply of molybdenum precursors is currently imported. Tracing back why tungsten had to be discarded, we found that China's raw material controls were at the very end, and even for the molybdenum they switched to, over 90% of the raw materials were sourced from China. Did they avoid the crisis, or did they simply shift their resources?
