Kretas wilder Osten: Spannender Abstieg Höhle Pelekita - Kato Zakros | Entspannung am Palmbeach Vai

We've now arrived in the very east of Crete, specifically in Kato Zakros. From there, after a – in our case, very windy – hike across the rocky coast, you can reach the entrance of Pelekita Cave, one of the largest caves in eastern Crete. There's no one there, and you can simply enter and descend at your own risk – which Thom also tries to do up to a point. Ultimately, however, we don't have the right equipment, and without lights and ropes, and ideally with other people, it seems too dangerous. Another – far safer – highlight in the east is definitely the palm-lined Vai Beach. The palm forest is truly large and expansive, and you could definitely shoot a cool cocktail commercial on the beach... Enjoy watching!
