In which I get critical. dances tackily I'm sorry, but every time I watch that moment I laugh SO HARD. It's SO BAD, AND SO TACKY, AND SO BADLY EDITED BUT I'M SO PROUD. This is genuinely one of my top reads of all time because every time I return to it I find something new to consider and to think about. It's such a powerful book. So if you haven't read it yet, you really should! :D I felt like I wanted to add a little side-note here that I've tried to choose my phrasing in my discussion for the as carefully as possible, in order to still be inclusive of trans women. As I say in the video, it is basically the organ of the 'uterus' that is being exploited for the sake of population growth, which is why I talk about women as a 'sex' rather than women as a 'gender.'
