Color Mixing Recipes Books Review!

Hey everyone! Today's video is a review and first impressions of 2 color mixing recipe books. If you just want the bottom line, here it is- Both books are nice, offer a lot of information, especially if you are new to mixing colors and color theory. I think the 1500 book is more to my liking, however, it does contain a lot of information about acrylic and oils, so if that is completely irrelevant to you, you might find it redundant. It contains sections for portraits and landscapes (sadly the latter only for acrylic and oil). The index is a great touch, where you can find exact recipes for so many objects and subjects. ** The author also has separate editions for Portraits and Landscapes if you're only interested in one. The books cost about the same on Amazon US, so I think you're getting more for you money with this one. The 3000 recipes book does contain more recipes, but I find a lot of them redundant. It is smaller and more compact, easier to carry around. It focuses only on watercolors, which is what I'm most interested in.
