🚇 Older than the current Q-trains! MTR Tsuen Wan Line Q-train first day operation - 2026/03/29

This video was filmed on 2026/03/29. On 2026/03/15, the MTR Tsuen Wan Line has been upgraded to a SelTrac CBTC signalling system, replacing the SACEM system that had been in use for the past 30 years. Just 2 weeks after, the Tsuen Wan Line Q-train finally entered operations on 2026/03/29, nearly 8 years after the trains first arrived in Hong Kong in 2018–2019. I noticed that trains do not feature ‘two-stage acceleration’, unlike the SACEM Q-train.
