Welcome to Esaan, the home of Thailand's most friendly, happy-go-lucky, party-loving (and FOOD-loving) people. Here in the North East, the weather is usually hot, as is pretty much every local recipe you'll find! Today, a large selection of noodles featuring Rice-Skin style Dumplings, a unique recipe at a local restaurant that I can't wait to share with you right now! NAME and LOCATION: คุณแจงก๋วยเตี๋ยวปากหม้อเข้าวัง https://goo.gl/maps/HLupMDFgVwvbbVuV8 'Kuay Teaw Baak Maw' is a cooking style brought down from China, and one that Thai cooks and chefs have adapted over generations to include a wide array of all the ingredients and flavours that Thai people love and cherish. The noodle recipe is simple, the flour using both rice flour, and yam flour, and a range of ingredients which includes CHIVES, mince pork, TOFU, radish, SAGO, carrot, AND of course, CHILI peppers :) Not only is the noodle feast at Khun Jaeng Restaurant worth traveling just to eat, but the next door neighbour shop sells what might be some of the best sausage you would ever dream to find! Three versions of sausage, of you need to try them all, yet another bonus addition to a huge combo meal, and an amazing way to spend a Saturday.
