This is part 1 of a 4 part series in which I attempt to walk you through the repair and modification process on this 1974 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb Tube Amplifier. This series is best suited for someone who is just beginning their journey into tube amp repair. In this video, I will cover/repair the following: -How a basic tube works -Repair Bias circuit -Replace power cord -Replace electrolytic capacitors -Replace Filter Capacitors Personal Disclaimer: I am not a professional technician. I may get things wrong.. This video was made primarily as a personal exercise to further imbed the fundamentals that I have attempted to learn in the past few years. It has forced me to say aloud why I was doing what I was doing and to fact check my actions to the best of my ability at the time. The content found above is mostly a rehashing of concepts that I have found online. If I find an error, I will do my best to note it in the description.
