This time, my main focus was on having fun. Together with my buddy and tax advisor, Olaf Daugs, we competed as a team and had a truly wonderful day of competition. 🙌 A particular highlight for me was the new hall. The playing conditions were simply outstanding, and I met many familiar faces from the table tennis scene. Tournaments like this demonstrate why our sport is so much fun. ❤️🏓 💥 A major focus of this video is the serve. I constantly try to emphasize to young players how important serve practice is. Many completely underestimate this aspect. Yet, the serve often decides 4 to 5 points per set. Players who vary their serve, using spin, placement, and pace, gain an immediate advantage and often get the first easy attack or even direct points. A good serve isn't a minor detail, but a real weapon in modern table tennis. My backhand also felt really good that day, resulting in some great rallies and powerful points.
