Washington Monument bomb threat; deadly MGM road rage shooting | Top Stories
U.S. Park Police are investigating after a social media post referenced a bomb threat at the Washington Monument. Police say the threat was deemed not credible after the area was canvassed by U.S. Park Police, National Guard, officers and police canines. Also, Prince George’s County police are investigating what appears to be a deadly road rage shooting near MGM National Harbor. Authorities say 33-year-old Christopher Austin Jr. was shot and killed after an argument in a parking garage, and 36-year-old Tyrell Harrison later turned himself in.
