Good afternoon! Today I want to perform for you a Venezuelan Waltz composed by Antonio Lauro (1917-1986) and dedicated to his son Luis Augusto in 1984. Waltzes are danceable forms, usually in 3 by 4, which find their origin in southern Germany. This is also in 3 by 4, a measure where the first time is strong and, therefore, more accented than the rest. Antonio Lauro is one of the pillars of the guitar, because he combined Venezuelan folklore in his compositions through waltzes (most of them with a woman's name like this one that you saw on my channel:    / watch   ? v = cgy2DBq2aUc) and other pieces such as sonatas or concerts for guitar and orchestra, among many others.
