The Strathspey Railway for Railway 200 - Steam, Diesel and more!

On October 16th, I visited the Strathspey Railway in Aviemore! This is an extensive railway that extends to Boat of Garten and Broomhill. It was re-opened in 1978, and now serves as one of the highlands' main heritage railways! Filmed in Aviemore and Boat of Garten - The Strathspey Railway. 16/10/2025. Filming Hours: 8:30AM - 3:00PM. ----------------------------------- 00:00 - The Strathspey Railway. 00:17 - Class 27. 02:17 - First run-around at Broomhill. 02:40 - The return. 02:54 - Steam arrives at Boat of Garten. 03:37 - Boat of Garten Departure. 04:52 - Class 37. 07:09 - 37 674 Departs Boat of Garten. 07:25 - Steam Locomotive shunt. 07:38 - Class 37 swaps for the steam locomotive. 08:24 - Steam departure. 09:22 - Back at Aviemore, with a HST. 09:43 - Double-Headed departure. 10:01 - Steam arrives into Boat of Garten. 10:41 - Second run-around. 11:08 - Climb out of Broomhill.
