Ingredients: For soaking: •1 bowl urad whole(sabut urad) •1/5 bowl rajma •For daal cooking: •Appro. 2ltrs of water •Salt to taste •Daal chinni (cinnamon)stick of 1 inch •Black cardamom(moti elaichi) •4 cloves(laung) •4 to 5 green chillies(hari mirch) roughly chopped •7 to 8 Garlic cloves(lehsun) •2 table spoon butter(makhan) For Tarka: •3 table spoon mustard oil •1 tablespoon ghee •half tea spoon jeera(cumin) •2 tej paata (bay leaf) •2 whole Kashmiri mirch roughly crushed •2 medium sized onion(chopped) •7 to 8 garlic cloves + 3 to 4 green chilli both crushed •1 inch ginger •1 tomato •half teaspoon of red Kashmiri red chilli powder •2 tea spoon garam masala(homemade) For finishing daal •Amul cream 2 table spoon •kasuri methi spoonfull And serve hot with roti or paratha with ghee
