Born in Istanbul in 1983, Gökhan Çınar completed his psychology education at Haliç University with a YÖK scholarship and was accepted to the Clinical Psychology master's program at Maltepe University in 2006. During his undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate studies, he continued his internships and work as a psychologist in the neurosis and psychosis wards of Balıklı Rum Hospital and Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital. While continuing her work in the field as a member of the Turkish Psychologists Association, she conducted and completed a comprehensive research project on "Professional Commitment" as her master's thesis. She gained competence in the application of many personality, intelligence, attention, development, and perception tests by receiving training in Adult, Adolescent, and Child Objective/Projective Tests. She received training in "Psychodynamic Approaches from Theory to Practice." Following the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training she received from the Turkish Psychologists Association, she continued her supervision studies in this approach with Dr. Çağla Gülol for three years. She continued her work in the field with EMDR training she received from the Institute of Behavioral Sciences. Between 2014 and 2018, she completed a four-year Gestalt Therapy training and experiential groups given by Prof. Dr. Ceylan Daş at the Gestalt Therapy Association. During this period, she continued her work in the field as an adolescent and adult psychotherapist. Throughout his professional life, he has participated in numerous trainings, seminars, organizations, and studies related to adolescence, a period he feels most connected to through psychotherapy sessions and the training he has attended. Gökhan Çınar, who continues to work in the field of psychotherapy at Keşif Psikoloji in Istanbul, where he is a founding partner, is also a founding member of the Play Therapy Association. He is pursuing his doctorate in the field of Cinema-TV. He has worked in media as a presenter, producer, and content creator since a young age. In 2019, he gave a TEDx talk titled "Facing Shame" and continues to speak at various seminars and events in Turkey and abroad. He is a writer for Kafa Magazine, the author of the book "Will It Pass?", and the producer of the programs "Katarsis" and "Katarsis X-TRA" broadcast on Bana Göre Tv, a digital platform he co-owns.
