To become a complete short game player, we need to pair great technique with fantastic golfing IQ. In this video, Ludvig demonstrates what world-class IQ looks like by adapting his technique for uphill lies, downhill lies, and rough shots. Having great technique alone around the greens is not enough. If you possess excellent technique but fail to correctly read the lie and adjust your technique and club choice as required, you will always struggle around the greens. Ludvig Åberg burst onto the scene in 2023 and became the first player ever to qualify for the Ryder Cup without having played in a Major.
