VLOG: I Went Backstage at "& Juliet" in Toronto! | Mirvish Productions

& Juliet has RETURNED to Toronto, and I had a chance to go backstage to check out the props and set pieces, AND chat with some of the cast and crew of this all new Canadian Production! & Juliet had their pre-broadway engagement in Toronto in 2022, and now the show has returned to the city with an all-Canadian cast featuring Vanessa Sears as Juliet, Julia McLellan as Anne Hathaway, George Krissa as Shakespeare, David Silvestri as Lance, Matt Raffy (May), Sarah Nairne (Angélique), David Jeffery (Romeo), and Brandon Antonio (Francois). Mirvish invited me out to celebrate Galentine's Day with an afternoon onstage at the Royal Alex, where I had a chance to interview Vanessa Sears and ask about her experience playing Juliet in "& Juliet" following her run as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet" at the Stratford Festival in 2024! We followed our time onstage with drinks at Toronto's newest hotspot 'Punch', and finally...we got to see the show!
