Pastor Jack Hibbs on “Replacement Theology”

In this video I respond to Pastor Jack Hibbs’ PragerU interview on so-called “replacement theology.” I don’t accept that label. From Romans 11, the biblical category is grafting—Gentiles are grafted into the same covenant promises through faith in Christ. That’s not replacement; that’s fulfillment in Jesus. I address: • Genesis 12 (“I will bless those who bless you”) and the scope of the promise in Galatians 3 and Romans 4. • Zion/Jerusalem in the OT and how the NT reads them in Hebrews 12, Galatians 4, and Revelation 21. • Romans 9–11: “enemies for your sake… beloved for the sake of election,” the one olive tree, and why this is not two plans of salvation. • Why calling fellow Christians “cancer” or saying they “tear out the OT” harms unity—and how Jesus (Luke 24) taught us to read the whole Bible. • An amillennial perspective on Christ’s reign and return: not a postal code, but the New Creation under the risen King.
