CGI Sci-Fi Short Film: "DEEP: 深海" | Singularity VIL

The short film was created independently by a Chinese artist. 1998 years after "the Great Unity", the Human Alliance just mastered the technology of interstellar travel. Due to the loneliness they felt in this universe, human launched a large-scale cosmic exploration project called "The Homeless", only aiming to prove that there is life beyond earth rather than pushing for war and plundering resources. The story takes place on an ocean planet called "DK-3: The Cyan Giant", the surface of which is all covered by liquid water. Calculation provided by computer indicates that the probability of it to conceive life is as high as 5.2%. The camera will follow the SS-19 probe ship from space, into the interior of DK-3, to explore its unknown deep sea... 大联合之后1998年，人类联盟刚掌握星际旅行技术，同时再也无法忍受来自宇宙的孤独，开始了名为《无归者计划》的大型宇宙探索行动，不为战争、不为资源，只为了证明宇宙中存在地外生命。 短片的故事发生在一颗名为“DK-3：青蓝巨人”的海洋星球上，这颗星球表面覆盖着大量的液态水，计算机演算后发现其孕育生命的概率竟高达5.2%。 镜头将跟随SS-19号探测船一起从太空开始，进入DK-3内部，探寻其未知的深海... 短片由我一人独立完成，前后共花了两年半的时间制作，一开始的灵感部分来自《星际穿越》和《爱死机》第一季中的《裂缝之外》章节，声呐和海洋是玩了游戏《无人深空》《潜渊症》《深海迷航》做了参考。 我希望能通过CG短片这一艺术形式，来表达我对宇宙以及世间万物的思考。 BiliBili链接：https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1pu4...
