Scoping Trails | Ride Leader Tips | Aprilia Tuareg 660

At the weekend I am leading another group ride for the ‪@trailridersfellowship8717‬ This time it will be down in Hampshire and Sussex. A couple of the trails I wanted to do, can be a bit tricky, so I thought it best to scope them out first on my wonderful ‪@ApriliaOfficial‬ Tuareg 660 to see if they were suitable for adventure bikes. I am hugely glad I did, as both were very much beyond what would be reasonable for big bike trail riding... not impossible, but responsibly best avoided. My Aprilia Tuareg 660 did get stuck a few times, but the Motoz Tractionator Adventure tyres managed to find some grip with a little persuasion and I was able to continue out of the bog, and up onto the climb. It was here that I felt beaten, mainly for safety reasons as my energy was now low, and I was lone riding on the trails. Anyway, TLDR.... It is always a good idea to see what lanes are like before adding them to a group ride, they can change so much when bad weather has been falling from the sky for what seems like forever!
