This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 300D, a W123 Body is finished in Thistle Green Metallic with a green interior! This was an 80's fashion statement! We acquired this classic car from a gentleman who was in the military who had purchased this beauty out of an elderly woman's estate garage. He believes she to be the original owner which is what we believe to be true as well due to the condition of this car. In fact, AutoHaus of Naples specializes in classic Mercedes-Benz and after inspection of the car and condition although, we unfortunately do not have proof, we believe the odometer reading of 55,971 could possibly be the actual miles on this car. We feel it is nearly impossible after thorough inspection for it to be in the mechanical condition which it is & for the interior to be as pristine as it is, that it could have been driven anymore than what the odometer says. The photos & the video show the condition very well so, maybe you can see why we believe this to be true! Sadly enough however, this belief is not something we are able to be certain about. The original window sticker price in 1980 was $25,449.00 which in today's money would be about $80,000.00! The Mexico Becker Radio & The Electrically Operated Sliding Roof were optional equipment to this car. We are lucky enough to have the original window sticker & the original books, we even have the original spare tire w/tag on it in the trunk! With proper maintenance, love & care, this reliable OM617 Mercedes-Benz Diesel Motor has ample amount of life ahead!
