How to Make Nature Prints on a Gel Plate - Fun with Gelli's
In this video I take you on a tour of how I make mono prints using natural materials found on my morning walk. When working with a gel plate, each pull is an adventure and no two prints will ever look the same. Some will turn out and others will flop. Many times I love the negative pull as much as the final print. This is part of the fun of gel plate printing. I love the beautiful detail and the naturally rustic results you can get with this process. I hope you enjoy! I use some moss, leaves and feathers on an 8" x 10" Gelli plate. The images were printed on 100lb smooth Bristol paper for this project. Thanks for watching.
