Bede’s Way
The 12-mile walk between Wearmouth and Jarrow represents an old pilgrims way between the two twin 7th century monasteries of Jarrow (St Paul’s) and Monkwearmouth (St Peter’s). Nearest Metro station to St Paul’s is Bede station which is a 15 minute walk away. And St Peter’s Metro station is about 5 minutes from St Peter’s. The walk can be done in either direction with no problem. Metro - https://www.nexus.org.uk Bede’s Way map/info - https://www.southtyneside.gov.uk/arti... Bede’s World museum - https://jarrowhall.com
