Direct flight with Qantas on the 787-9 Dreamliner from CDG to Perth

After our original flight with Emirates to Australia was cancelled we rebooked direct with Qantas but the only snag was, we couldn’t find any flights left leaving the uk only Paris! So we travelled the 400 odd miles down to Paris via the euro tunnel. The flight was 16 hrs 30 minutes, the longest flight I’ve ever done! Our experience overall was really good, the food was good and the flight attendants kept coming round with snacks, the only downside I would say is the room you get between the seats in front was a little cramped at times. You are given a pillow and blanket but once the food comes round and your tray goes down it doesn’t leave much room to eat. #qantas #flight #holiday #planes
