Build Visual Senses using Red Knobless Cylinders: Part 1 - A Sensorial Lesson | Primary Level
Global Montessori Network This sensorial lesson is designed for 3 to 6-year-old children. The video uses knobless cylinders which are solid 3D shapes to help a child learn how to discriminate between the dimensions of the shapes using their visual senses. These cylinders are available in 4 different colors, each set containing ten cylinders, which vary in height, or diameter, or both. Red knobless cylinders–In it, each cylinder decreases in diameter, and height remains constant. The lesson aims at developing a child's visual discrimination of sizes. it also develop fine motor skills, order, concentration, and hand-eye coordination. Invite the child to arrange the cylinders as per the size and help them develop their visual dimension senses.
