#22 Art Deco Blue Five 2007 at Bude Jazz Festival : The Art Deco Five leader Steve Chisholm (vocals, cornet and trombone) has long been known to Bude audiences as the superb 1920s and 30s style crooner and instrumentalist with Doctor Jazz and Pennies from Devon. More recently he formed the Art Deco Blue Five to play music from this era associated with such luminaries as Bing Crosby, Al Bowlly and Red Nichols. Steve is joined by Zoe Lambeth (reeds & vocals), Bob Martin (bass and sousaphone) and John Whitlock (banjo, guitar and vocals) and Dennis Rossi (piano). (Falcon Hotel)
