In this video, I'll show you step by step how to install a meter box. We'll start by installing the 25d60 meter box. Preparation We'll start by mounting the meter box. It's mounted 135 cm from the bottom. The distribution board will be placed next to the meter box, and the power cables will be attached at the bottom. All necessary accessories, such as cables and mounting hardware, are already on hand. Installing the Cables There are two cables: an incoming cable from the street and a cable going to the distribution board. In this setup, we'll use the left side for the incoming cable and the right side for the connection to the distribution board. We'll cut the cables to the correct length and feed them into the box. We'll then secure them with screws and install a strain relief for added safety. Attaching the Main Cables We'll drill a tap every 10 cm to secure the cables. We'll secure the main cables to the plate using tension straps. Use heavy-duty straps and pliers to tighten them properly. We ensure that the cables are neatly folded and secured. Connecting the Power Cable The power cable from the distribution board is prepared and installed. We then connect the cable to the residual current circuit breaker. The color code is less important in residential installations, but we still follow the standard colors for neatness. Finalization and Preparation for Fluvius Finally, we put the cover of the meter box in place. It is partially screwed down so that Fluvius can later connect and seal the meter. The rest of the installation, such as laying the cable to the street, is carried out by Fluvius. This depends on the specific situation of the house and street. (Normally, the installer should already have laid the cable outside and connected it to the disconnector in the meter box.)
