Mein MacBook im Retro-Macintosh-Gehäuse

The Retro Macintosh is a deliberately simple fake case in the style of the Macintosh IIfx – but for current Apple hardware. In this video, I'll show you the complete construction process and explain how a 3D-printed case became a retro cover for my MacBook Air. I printed the case, filled, sanded, and painted it. I also added a small green power LED to make it look even more like the old Macintosh. This isn't about a perfect replica, but rather a pragmatic DIY project with plenty of retro charm. It is not an official Apple product and is in no way affiliated with Apple. Replicating this project is at your own risk. Conclusion: The project is deliberately pragmatic and avoids unnecessary complexity. For me, it's a great way to revive the look of old Apple hardware while visually integrating my current MacBook Air into a retro setup. Not perfect, but that's precisely what makes it a true maker project. 🔗 3D printed parts: https://www.printables.com/model/1707... 💬 Questions or suggestions? Feel free to leave a comment!
