I was a little nervous at first because of the language barrier, but the Red Cross staff were very kind and helpful. I’m grateful for the opportunity to donate blood and help people in need. I also take you along as I prepare my bento lunch pack, enjoy a delicious yakiniku dinner with my husband, celebrate my friend Marie’s birthday at a Hawaiian restaurant, and cook a simple yet tasty Filipino-style adobo at home.
