Painting Beach Roses With Pastels Tutorial

In this tutorial I show how to paint beach roses with pastels. These flowers bring beautiful color to summer beach landscape, and pastels are perfect to study their colors and shapes. This demo is a closeup study of the beach roses in a more free impressionistic style. This work is done on sanded Uart paper (400 grit, neutral color) with underpainting done with hard pastels (various purples and reds). I used mostly soft pastels after that.
