St. Cyprian's Boys and St. Gabriel's move to semis in cricket competition

St. Cyprian's Boys and St. Gabriel's have booked semi-final spots in the C.O.B. Herman Griffith Primary Schools Cricket Competition. At Brereton today, St. Cyprian's chased down 118 to beat Bayley's Primary by six wickets. Batting first, Bayley's posted 117 for eight, with Aiden Blades and Jadeja Holder top-scoring with 22 each. Liam Lowe took 2-13. CBC's Ann-Marie Burke was there for that innings. St. Cyprian's chased 119 for four, with Christian Reid scoring 22 and Lowe and Kai Headley adding 20 each. Meanwhile, St. Gabriel's also won by six wickets, defeating Milton Lynch at Briar Hall. Milton Lynch 66 all out; St. Gabriel's 67 for four. The remaining two quarter-finals are set for Thursday.
